Domestic Violence is not only devastating to the victim but can be hard to prosecute. We interviewed Attorney Ken Brown regarding the Alfred Quest also known as Gene Quest case.

USDA Rural Development had a successful evening Monday night at the Knights of Columbus Bingo. They collected 117 lbs of food for our local food bank. USDA wants to thank the Knights of Columbus for their hospitality.
If you were planning on making a non perishable food donation, you still have time. There will be a box at the Goshen county fair – The box will be at the conservation district booth. Thank you to all who have participated in giving.

Go WYO Soccer is going to be at the fair. Tuesday July 27th at 1pm their will be a gathering at the Goshen County Fair Grounds on the lawn area. Anyone interested in signing up for soccer is encouraged to attend. Go Wyo Soccer will also meet on Thursday July 29th at 9am at the Torrington High School parking lot. They will have a float in the parade and are asking all children that want to participate to join them. Rod will have extra shirts available for the fair.

This is open to public to tour the new fire hall. They will be serving hamburgers and hotdogs. All are welcome. Again that’s Friday from 5 – 7
July 24 Saturday Evening – Ft. Laramie Creatures of the Night, 5-10 p.m., Fort Laramie National Historic Site, 965 Gray Rocks Road, Fort Laramie,
Bring a picnic dinner and learn about various creatures that are active during the night. Activities include bat viewing, live raptors, games and nature walks to look for amphibians and evening birds. This event is Free Contact (307) 837-2221.
