    BANNER HEALTH IMPLEMENTS VISITOR RESTRICTIONS

    Banner Health will implement visitor restrictions at its hospitals by Oct. 1 because of the current Enterovirus D68 outbreak. Restrictions will likely remain in place through the flu season, roughly the end of March.

    FALL SPORTS STORIES

    LINGLE-FT. LARMIE LADY DOGGERS HEADED TO CASPER THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31ST TO PLAY THEIR FIRST ROUND OF 1A STATE VOLLEYBALL AGAINST BURLINGTON. THE LADY DOGGERS WON THEIR FIRST MATCH WITH A 3-1 WIN OVER BURLINGTON. THEY WENT INTO FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST, VS. LITTLE SNAKE RIVER WHERE THEY SWEPT THE COURT TO WIN THE MATCH 3-0.

    ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND, THE LADY DOGGERS FACED OFF AGAINST COKEVILLE IN THE 1A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH. THIS WAS A FAMILIAR SPOT FOR THESE GIRL'S AS THEY HAD PLAYED IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN THE 2012 STATE TOURNAMENT. THE LADY DOGGERS FOUGHT THEIR HEARTS OUT AS THEY WENT HEAD TO HEAD WITH CLOSE GAMES AGAINST COKEVILLE. UNFORTUNATLEY THE DOGGERS FELL IN THE 5TH GAME LOSING 15 TO 9. COKEVILLE TOOK THE MATCH 3-2 OVER THE LINGLE-FT. LARAMIE LADY DOGGERS.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LADY DOGGERS ON THEIR EXCELLENT SEASON AND TAKING 2ND PLACE IN 1A STATE VOLLEYBALL! THIS IS THEIR SECOND CONSECUTIVE SEARSON WITH A SECOND PLACE STANDING AT STATE. ALL CONFERENCE AND ALL-STATE VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS TO BE ANNOUNCED LATER IN THE WEEK.

    EWC GOLF STANDINGS

    In the Region IX Division I Golf Standing for the Fall of 2013, the Men's Eastern Wyoming College Golf Team took first place over Tirinidad, Otero, and Lamar. Five of EWC's golf members placed in the Top 20 leading them to their victory. Brandon Rideout finsihed in 2nd, Aaron Nirider, 3rd, Garett Mortimer, 4th, Josh Wilson, 7th, and Chandler Meeboor took 14th. Congratulations to the Eastern Wyoming Men's College Golf Team.
