Wyoming ethanol plant continues production
The only ethanol plant in Wyoming will be buying less corn from Wyoming farmers come 2015.
Renova Energy, an ethanol plant in Torrington Wyoming and the only ethanol plant in the state will continue production despite the end of state aid. The legislature recently voted to repeal the state's ethanol tax credit come 2015. The state has been subsidizing ethanol since 1995 CEO of Renova Energy, Terry Oldfield says people's fear's that the plant could close entirely are unlikely to come true.
